Making this book was a journey through the squares and parks of my city. Reconnecting with the places that were part of my life.

The book tells the story of the city through the green spaces found in its squares and parks. It catalogs those places and their trees as a gift to the city. Its a publication that portrays the integration between people and nature in the urban context of the fifth largest city in Brazil, Fortaleza. 

Green Dreams is divided into three parts: downtown, new squares, and beautiful ecological parks. The photographs show the city in detailed images. The illustrations reveal the flowers and leaves of the native trees of the city. This work was made for Terra da Luz publishing house, with editorial coordination by Patrícia Veloso, photographs by Gentil Barreira and illustrations by Filipa Viana.
