Iracema Musical
Iracema Lábios de Mel Musical
The musical Iracema dos Lábios de Mel recreates the novel of the same name written by José de Alencar to illustrate the love between the Indian Iracema and the Portuguese colonizer Martim Soares Moreno.
The feather symbolizes the native people and their beauty. The red color represents the war between the Europeans and the natives, but also the love between the Portuguese colonizer Martim and the Indian Iracema, and the couple's child.
This work was done in partnership with the designer and illustrator Filipa Viana for Lumiar Communication and Consulting and Ilclemar Nunes Cultural Productions.
